Our Evidence-Based Therapy Approach

Our team at Wake Counseling uses a range of evidence-based therapies to help you build resilience, manage symptoms, and achieve personal growth. Whether you are addressing trauma, fostering healthy relationships, or working through anxiety, we are here to support you.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors that impact your mental health. At Wake Counseling, our therapists use CBT to teach strategies that reframe your thinking, manage symptoms of anxiety and depression, and promote long-term wellness.

DBT combines acceptance and change to help you manage intense emotions and improve relationships. Our therapists at Wake Counseling guide you in developing emotional regulation and mindfulness skills to build a balanced, fulfilling life.

EMDR helps process and resolve traumatic memories through guided bilateral stimulation. At Wake Counseling, our therapists use EMDR to help you overcome trauma and PTSD, enabling healing and personal growth.
